The Wyatt Butcher Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Wyatt Michael Butcher of South Dayton, NY.
Wyatt was a hands-on learner and was studying to become a welder. Wyatt was entering his junior year as a Pine Valley Student at E2CCB P-Tech when he passed away in July 2022.
This scholarship will have two awards of $1000 each. It is being offered to seniors who attend Pine Valley Central School and/or E2CCB P-Tech (Dunkirk Campus). The students awarded
with these scholarships must meet the following criteria:
- Be confirmed to be in their senior year and graduating high school this year
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Be pursuing a career in a trade or attending a vocational school
- Provide one academic reference
- Complete a minimum 300-word essay about themselves, their career goals and how this scholarship will benefit them in achieving their educational/career goals.
This award is intended to be utilized for expenses other than tuition such as housing, books, tools needed to enhance
their intended career, etc. and will be awarded at graduation to the chosen applicants.
